The clutch pedal is used to separate the engine from the driven shaft and change gears when you push the clutch pedal down the engine will separate from driven shaft. A clutch pedal works as a clutch controller.
A clutch pedal is the foot leaver that is operated by the foot. When a vehicle in traffic in this situation Clutch pedal is used to adjust the speed of the vehicle.
Working of Clutch pedal:
- The clutch pedal controls the power transmission from the engine to the gearbox.
- In an automatic shifting gear in cars there is no Clutch pedal.
- When the clutch pedal is released the thrust bearing is released and the diaphragm spring resume to the transmission of power.
